Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Sri Lanka Hosts Annual ICS Night 2025 at Park Street Mews

Posted on Tuesday, October 21, 2025

The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (UK) Sri Lanka Branch (ICS SL) successfully held its annual flagship event, ICS Night 2025, on 10th October at The Stables, Park Street Mews. The occasion brought together a distinguished gathering of maritime industry leaders and professionals, reaffirming its position as one of the most anticipated networking events in the shipping and logistics calendar.

ICS Night has, over the years, evolved into more than just a social evening, offering participants an opportunity to strengthen professional ties, share industry insights, and foster collaboration across the sector. This year's edition featured a lively line-up of activities, including interactive games and an entrance draw with attractive prizes, adding a spirit of celebration to the evening's formal undertones.

Each year, Chair of the Project is committed in elevating the standards of ICS Night by introducing new features and experiences. The continued enthusiasm of our members and the strong support of our industry partners made this possible.

ICS SL extends its appreciation to the event sponsors, noting that their support was instrumental in enabling ICS SL to significantly subsidize ticket prices, thereby ensuring greater accessibility and participation from across the shipping community.

Adding to the prestige of the evening, the Special Guest was Mrs. Arathi Narayanan, Chairperson of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Madras Branch, who graced the occasion and was welcomed by Mr. Lalith Witanachchi, Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Sri Lanka Branch.

Looking ahead, ICS SL reiterated its commitment to strengthening professional standards and knowledge-sharing within Sri Lanka's maritime sector. Through a series of training programs, knowledge forums, and industry events planned for the coming year, the Institute aims to further empower shipping professionals while fostering closer collaboration across regional and global networks.

With its blend of industry fellowship and celebration, ICS Night 2025 once again reinforced the role of ICS SL as a vital platform for both professional development and networking within Sri Lanka's maritime industry.
