openday 1

Yesterday the Institute threw open its doors to prospective students in 13 centres internationally and online via the open day forum. The events were greatly attended and appreciated by many who are considering further study and the route towards professional qualifications. Institute staff, members and tutors were on hand to answer queries and all who attended experienced a range of informative and fun occasions including barbecues, presentations and one-to-one advice.

News is coming in thick and fast from our network of branches and teaching centres and further updates will follow. In the meantime here are some early reports.

Hong Kong was well attended and guests were shown the 16 course books and 3 short ICS videos.  Branch Exco members explained about the Institute vision and mission.  They enjoyed very much the constructive discussion and advice on PQE.

Greece's open evening held yesterday was a great success. More than 70 candidates attended the event. Visitors had the chance to discuss the study options offered by ICS. They had many enquires about the PQE and were happy to meet tutors and staff who helped them a lot regarding which subjects to attend depending on their academic/professional background.

Openday 3
Cyprus
had around 40 interested students who attended the event and were treated to a short presentation about the Institute and the benefits of being a member of such an esteemed association. This was followed by a social hour during which a lot of questions were answered. Most attendees showed great interest to register for the upcoming exams.

open day 5

China International Teaching Centre hosted a successful open evening in Shanghai with good food and drink in a relaxing atmosphere, introducing the ICS courses and providing answers to questions. Everyone enjoyed the event and had a great conversation.

open day 4

The Open Evening held in Liverpool was a success with local people enquiring about the ICS and the education courses. The branch believes that guests will decide to register as students and begin studying towards their examinations in the near future.

London Head Office's event was held on the 8th floor of our building in a venue with a terrace and a charming view of the city, kindly donated for the evening by our neighbours. Many prospective students visited and mixed with our team of education and membership advisors. Chris Hibbert FICS from London branch also kindly attended.

Our gratitude to everyone who gave their time to contribute to this year's record event which was a roaring success!
