Posted on Friday, August 1, 2014 and tagged as Education

The Institute receives many requests for our exams to be held more often, particularly to assit those who wish to tackle more subjects in a an academic year, without having to wait until April each year.

From 2014 the Institute is offering a trial exam session, which if successful, will be offered annually in addition to the Institute's April exams. Anyone can take the November examinations. You may wish to break up your studies sitting some exams in November and some in April; perhaps you are having a career gap that will give you some extra time for study or you may simply feel confident in the subject and do not need as much time to study. Whatever your reasons you may find that the November exam sitting will suit your needs.

In November 2014 the Institute will be offering exams for the following subjects:

  • Introduction to Shipping
  • Shipping Business
  • Legal Principles in Shipping Business
  • Economics of Sea Transport and International Trade
  • Dry Cargo Chartering
  • Ship Operations & Management
  • Port Agency
  • Liner Traders

The Institute's exams will be held in selected centres worldwide (please refer our standard exam centres). Unfortunately we cannot offer any other centres for the November sitting.

We will also be running a November PREP revision event based in London. Please refer to the PREP revision event information for further details.
