Registration process

The Institute's academic year opens on 19 June 2025.

To sit an exam with the Institute during the 2025/26 academic year, you will need to register as a student. You can do this through submitting one of our online forms which can be found on our student registration page.

Please email education@ics.org.uk, if you are unsure how to register or you are having difficulties accessing your account. You must include your student number, date of birth and your email address used at the time of your last registration, so that the Education team can quickly locate your records.

Once registered online on www.shipbrokers.org you can: manage your own account, update your contact information (this information is only used by the Institute to send important information), and also view previous years exams as well as other information related to your profile, such as any subject exemption granted.
