"What's the scoop? A perspective on BIMCO Contracts, the
Dry Bulk market and Pilotage"
The London and South East branch organised another successful
event with the support this time of the Baltic
Leading industry experts discussed recent developments in key
shipping areas such as BIMCO Contracts, the Dry Bulk market
and Pilotage at the London branch seminar on
22nd September hosted by the Baltic Exchange.
The three key speakers on stage were Grant
Hunter, Chief Officer for Legal and Contractual Affairs at
BIMCO, Susan Oatway FICS, Bulk Analyst at Drewry
Shipping Consultants Ltd, and Capt. Mike Robarts
FICS, Marine Pilot, Harwich Haven Authority.
The seminar was as usual well attended with participants
interested in the recent changes to BIMCO forms, the dry cargo
market and the life of a sea pilot.
The event was followed by the traditional branch gathering that
provided members and student with a pleasant networking
