ICS Middle East Branch- Awards Night

The Awards Nite, the signature event of ICS Middle East branch, was celebrated on 2nd May 2023. The award winning students, prize sponsors and tutors were recognized at this glamorous event.

Mr. Shehad Mohamad AlJasmi, Vice President- Ports and Terminals, DP World was the Key Note Speaker. He delivered an interesting speech which will undoubtedly inspire more professionals to take up ICS programs. He stressed upon the crucial role played by organizations such as ICS in shaping the business community here.

Dr. Sangeeth Ibrahim, Behavioral Psychologist, award winning Motivational Speaker, Trainer, Coach and best selling Author, gave a captivating talk on our habits and how it shapes our behavior.
The event also witnessed Mr. Aju Abraham Thomas, Territory General Manager- UAE, Oman, Qatar, Sub-Agency Middle East & East Africa, making the announcement that Wilhelmsen Group has in principle decided to have ICS qualification mandatory for their port agency division.

The Awards Nite was attended by over 350 attendees representing 172 companies and 38 nationalities, undoubtedly the largest event in the region. The attendees included ship owners, ship operators, port agents, forwarders, Shipping Lines, charterers, terminal operators and other intermediaries in shipping and logistics.
