The West Africa Branch held their AGM on 24 September 2018. The Branch elected the new Branch Chair - Gertrude who has been actively involved in Branch activities since 2011.

Gertrude is taking over from the immediate past chairman Fred Asiedu-Dartey FICS and she will keep up the good work of the branch assisted by her colleagues Tami T. Adu as vice chairman for the Branch. Tami took over from Capt. S.O. Olarewaju who helped launch the Nigerian Chapter. The new Branch secretary is Nathaniel Kojo Nti MICS who takes over from Gibson Keteku (FICS).
