Denmark Branch
The Denmark Branch of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers was
founded in September 2010 and Luis Bernat, FICS, was appointed the
first Chairman. Every year a considerable number of students study
with the Denmark Branch of the Institute to gain further
qualifications, and Branch activities are a mix of educational and
social, including seminars and similar events.
The Denmark Branch has excellent links with the local shipping
community as well as the relevant maritime bodies and associations
located in Denmark. Members of the Denmark Branch are mainly
brokers, but other areas from the maritime industry such as agency,
shipowning, ship financing and liner shipping are also
represented.
