If you would like to know what are your study options with the Institute then the OPEN DAY is the perfect opportunity for you.

Members and Fellows of the Institute will be there to tell you all about Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers' examinations, tutorship and benefits of becoming a member of this unique Professional Institute.

 

In addition to that the branch has also organised two brief talks.

 

1830-1900  Belt Road Initiative (BRI) and Shipping Markets - Short, Medium & Long Term Impact

It is not yet entirely clear how BRI will impact the demand for various commodities & products, trading patterns & tonne miles over a span of time. Will it be a structural change, opening up new markets and access to resources including labour?

Mr. Jagmeet Makkar* will explore these concepts with you.

1900-1930  Panel discussion: Importance of Skills development in the fast changing business environment.

Mr. Josh Li, Mr. Davin Chan and Mr. Abhinav Makkar will lead the discussions highlighting their personal experiences and expressing their views while inviting audience to participate in this ever relevant debate.
