London and South East Branch

With almost 1,000 members, the London Branch is the largest and oldest within the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Many of our members currently work or live in London and the South East of England, although such is the nature of our industry, members are based all around the world.

Our members work in a wide range of maritime related disciplines. Centred on London, there is a predominance of broking, legal, insurance and banking professionals, although port-related activities (such as agency, surveying and ship operations) are still well represented amongst the membership.

The London and South East Branch provide continuing professional education and networking opportunities for our members through branch seminars, summer barbeques and similar events. We also host a revision evening for those studying for the professional qualifying exams.
