CELEBRATIONS & SEMINAR

ON WEDNESDAY 28th September 2022

­at GRAND BALLROOM, PEARL CONTINENTAL HOTEL, KARACHI

Keeping its tradition of celebrating the WORLD MARITIME DAY, since more than three decades, The Nautical Institute, Pakistan Branch in collaboration with

  • The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS)
  • The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT)
  • Pakistan Merchant Navy Officers' Association(PMNOA)

is organizing a seminar to celebrate the World Maritime Day 2022. The theme as approved by the council of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) is:

'New technologies for greener shipping'

To highlight the day in a befitting manner we are organizing a one-day seminar on the above theme, which will be conducted in  three (3) session viz:-

1) INAUGURAL SESSION - followed by Hi-Tea                                                         0930 hrs - 1100 hrs

Expected Minister of MoMA to be the Chief Guest

2) TECHNICAL SESSION - followed by Lunch                                                             1130 hrs - 1400 hrs

Expected DG P&S to be session Chairman

3) CLOSING SESSION - followed by Dinner                                                                 2000 hrs - 2230 hrs

Expected Federal Secretary, MoMA to be the Chief Guest

Several overseas & Pakistan based Maritime experts will be presenting papers of high standard.

The Seminar is expected to be very useful with a high professional standard and is open to members of the Maritime Community.
