This course will introduce marine insurance market, the principles and practices of marine insurance, claims, and general average.

Logistics and Multi-modal Transport

From Sep 25, Every Wed. 1830-2130, 45 hours

This course covers the interrelationship between all modes of transport used in International trade. During the semesters, topics regarding international distribution, physical operation, trades routes, the practitioners, through transport pricing, inventory management, sale contracts and documentation, conventions relating to multi-modal transport, regulation, as well as sales and marketing will be discussed.

Ship Operations and Management

From Sep 26, Every Thur. 1830-2130, 45 hours

This course covers practices you have to know about shop operations and management, including ship-owners, operators and managers, ship types, cargoes, registration, classification, port state control, ISM Code, costs, accounting, crewing, marine insurance, vessel operations, bunker management, voyage estimating as well as law relating to ship management.
