After the success of the 2016 rowing race, Teesside District Sea Cadets invite you to take part again in a rowing race here on the River Tees.

The Sea Cadets is a National Charity with the Queen as its Patron. Our aim is to inspire young people through nautical adventure and challenge to help give them a head start in life.

Teesside Sea Cadets is continuously working to raise their profile and vital funds to continue giving opportunities to young people in the area. As part of this we are hosting another rowing race and family fun day.

The race will be between the Infinity and Princess of Wales Bridges and back to the River Tees Watersports Centre using Sea Cadet Trinity 500 rowing boats.

Teams should be made up of 5 persons - 4 rowers and 1 coxswain.

Entry fee is £100 per team.

Throughout the day there will be activities, games, displays and demonstrations of nautical skills both on and off the water at River Tees Watersports Centre which will also be open for food and drinks and shelter from the great British weather.
