London International Maritime and Commercial Law Conference 2018

Overview

In considering that the aim of this conference is to bring West and East professionals together to discuss the inter-regional impact on maritime legal issues, in order to establish a broad horizon, this conference will embrace internationally distinguished scholars and practitioners to discuss maritime issues from a broad point of view.  The topics discussed will be as follows:

  • Marine insurance law;
  • Maritime codification;
  • The impact of economic stagnation and security on the shipping industry;
  • Legal issues in relation to China's Belt and Road Initiative;
  • Finance and banking issues in international trade;
  • The development of ports;
  • Dispute resolution.
