Baltic Exchange & Institute lectures - Singapore, 25 September

The Baltic Exchange and Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers present the second series of lectures in Shanghai, Singapore, Athens and London; intended to support and develop those working in chartering and operations. The series will examine topical issues facing those working in these roles, offering advice on best practice in critical situations and insight into the changing patterns affecting sectors within shipping.

Supported by the major broking houses, this initiative is aimed at supporting those developing their careers in shipping and encouraging better advocacy across the future generation of industry leaders.

Looking into the outcome of the IMO's Summer discussions and industry reaction to the 2020 cap, our speakers will give attendees a look at the real figures surrounding these incoming changes as well as the effect that has so far played-out in our industry. Looking further into what may come, attendees will be able to hear from the industry-centred experts on the choices available to principals and how owner compliance may impact the charterer's decision making.
