The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Hong Kong Branch is pleased to present a two hour seminar during the Hong Kong Maritime Week.

The seminar is co-organised with C.Y. Tung International Centre for Maritime Studies, Hong Kong PolyU (ICMS), Institute of Seatransport, Hong Kong Logistics Management Staff Association, Marine Insurance Club, Young Professionals in Shipping Network & Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators.

Brief bio of the Speaker:

Jagmeet Makkar: A unique combination of academic prowess, teaching and vast experience in commercial shipping, ship construction & conversions, marine engineering, dispute resolution and senior management roles defines Jagmeet's career.

Jagmeet is a Shipping & Energy consultant, an educator and a maritime arbitrator. He has been in the shipping industry for over thirty-five years including Noble Chartering (Co-Head of Chartering & Global Head of Shipping Assets) and KC Maritime (Vice President).

He is a Supporting Member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association, a Member of the Hong Kong Maritime Arbitrators Group, a Fellow the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators as well as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
