Our Membership

The East Africa branch membership has 160 maritime professionals, with about twenty Fellows and one hundred and forty Members.

We have seen a steady increase in the number of members in the last few years - estimated 20% average growth rate year on year.

The branch membership operates in various sectors of the maritime industry - the majority being engaged in ship agency companies, logistics and freight forwarding companies, container freight stations, ship chandlers and at the ports (especially in Mombasa and Dar es Salaam).
