The Branch partnered with Masser Afrique to organize a maritime career and internship fair under the theme "Preparing Professionals to Power Global Growth" at the Regional Maritime University. This was done in collaboration with the Students Representative Council of the University.

The fair sought to equip students with skills to be globally competitive and also encourage them to be entrepreneurial.

The partnership was fruitful on all fronts in terms of the quality of personnel that represented and the mass representation of the student body. Each session was engaging enough and the speakers directly addressed issues relating to the theme.

The fair was graced by the presence of the Director of Research of the Ministry of Transport who was the special guest of honor.  He spoke at length on the practical plans of the Ministry to enhance job opportunities for students of the University.

The Institute was represented on the day by Mr. Nathaniel Nti and Mrs. Gertrude Ohene-Asienim FICS who made a detailed presentation on the activities of the Institute, the qualifications that the Institute has on offer. During the presentation it was highlighted to students attending how to take advantage of the many opportunities provided by the Institute.

Among the notable speakers include Mr. Oludotun Osiyemi of Doterry's Consulting who gave the students and other participants a practical insight on Entrepreneurship and Networking Skills in the 21st Century and a representative from Zormelo and Associates, an HR recruitment firm who spoke on Building a Career and How to write a winning CV/Resume.
