FONASBA Young Ship Agent or Shipbroker Award 2018

Entries are  now open for the 2018 Young Ship Agent or Ship Broker Award.

Now in its fourth year, the FONASBA Young Ship Agent or Ship Broker Award is developing into a well-respected educational initiative and the papers presented are of an extremely high standard.

Applicants must be aged under 40 at the time of making their entry and be employed by a company that is a member of FONASBA national association or is itself an Associate or Club Member. The Institute is the FONASBA member representing the United Kingdom.

The Award is supported by our sponsors, BIMCO and ITIC and the winner of the first prize receives complimentary entry to one of BIMCO's e-learning courses and a cheque for €500.00 from ITIC. The winner is also invited to attend the FONASBA Annual Meeting to receive their award from the President. The 2018 Award will be presented in Cancun, Mexico.

As in previous years, candidates are invited to submit a short (one page) synopsis of the subject and coverage of their proposed entry to the Review Committee, this year by 16th February 2018.
