Speakers' Profile

Wouter Geerdes is Downstream LNG Business Development Manager within Royal Dutch Shell. Within this role Wouter is responsible for developing LNG as a Marine Fuel within South East Asia.

Wouter holds a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente in the Netherlands. After joining Shell in 2007 he held a variety of commercial positions within Shell's downstream and gas trading businesses in Europe and Asia.

 

Gurpreet Singh is a Value and Planning Manager within the Shipping & Maritime organisation in Shell. Amongst his key priorities, he supports commercial shipping opportunities in the region, including developing the LNG bunkering market in Singapore. Gurpreet holds a Master of Business Administration degree from INSEAD, and before joining Shell, he held several commercial appointments with Maersk Line. Before pursuing his professional career, Gurpreet graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering degree.
