Posidonia Shipsoccer Tournament

The Institute Greece Branch will participate to the Posidonia Shipsoccer Tournament on Sunday 5ht June 2016.

This will be the 5th tournament; a unique soccer event for the worldwide shipping community that will take place on 5th June ahead of the official opening of the international shipping exhibition Posidonia 2016.

Our team of eleven students has started training. We hope you will join the branch at the Champions League Karaiskaki Stadium and support the team on the day.

As an integral part of the Posidonia Games, the five per five soccer tournament is also expected to attract football enthusiasts from all shipping companies, suppliers and other international organisations operating within the shipping world.

In 2014 over 500 spectators enjoyed a spectacular day of action with over 250 shipping executives from 28 companies taking part in the event.

The 2016 event will host 4 groups of 7 teams - for an overall number of 28 teams joining in.

The award ceremony will take place after the final match, around 22:00hrs at the Karaiskaki Reception Hall.
