Overview

The 1 day conference is to examine the benefits of 'maritime' education for those thinking of a career in 'shipping', to which there are many facets - for those in employment and desire to sit professional examinations or just update on procedures and for employers engaged in any aspect of the shipping chain etc.

The day is free, ( including refreshments/lunch),  - co-hosted by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and Port Academy Liverpool - presentations by professionals  actively engaged in shipping  - time in the programme for interactive discussion- open to all involved in any part of the shipping chain - employers - employees  and potential students - meet with those in 'shipping' -  companies can display their details - wifi/office facilities.
