Liverpool Branch
The first AGM of the Liverpool District Association of Chartered
Shipbrokers was held in 1917 - some 13 years after the formation of
the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. Then in 1958, the Liverpool
District was re-titled "The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers
(Liverpool Branch)".
The Liverpool
Branch holds an annual dinner to which some 500 persons
attend and is respected throughout the shipping community as being
a major event on the calendar.
