Greece Branch

Introduction

Greek Branch logoThe ICS Greece Branch was established in 2005 by Mrs Natalia Margioli, FICS under the official administration of the Hellenic Management Centre and is located in the heart of one of the most important international shipping centres, the port of Piraeus. The ICS Greece Branch promotes the ICS principles and raises the professional standards across the Greek maritime community.

By providing the Annual Professional Programme, the Greece Branch prepares the candidates for the ICS Professional Qualifying Examinations leading to the accreditation of the ICS Membership. The branch successfully organises a variety of shipping training seminars that are offered complimentary to all Greece ICS members and students while it also holds a number of conferences, forums and social activities aiming at the support and promotion of the members' interests.

The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Greece Branch has added a new dimension in Greek maritime training. In 2010, the Greece Branch has been awarded during the 7th Annual Lloyds' List Greek Shipping Awards with the Award for Achievement in Education and Training.
