Cyprus Branch
The Cyprus Branch of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers was
established in Limassol in 1996. It is one of the most instrumental
weapons in the armory of the Institute, and the growth of the
Branch has been impressive since its establishment. The number of
members has increased from 20 to over 120, while the Institute has
gained a prominent position in the local shipping industry.
The Cyprus Branch has excellent links with the local shipping
community as well as the relevant state departments and maritime
bodies and associations located on the island. The Cyprus Branch
cooperates closely with the Cyprus Shipping Chamber on educational
matters, and in particular in the running the 'Understanding
Shipping' course.
