shipping related education and training, ICS delivers its main educational
programme – TutorShip – direct from its London head office and
under agreement through its 16 distance learning centres worldwide. Every year
over 1000 students worldwide sit the ICS Professional Qualifying Examination.
Last year 2,781 papers were sat in 78 exam centres around the world.

aggregated period in the industry successful students can then apply for
membership – with all the career advantages and benefits that confers. |
| For those students who do
not want to take the full membership exams, TutorShip can be used to study for
the ICS Foundation Diploma (an accredited qualification in its own right and
recognised internationally) giving them a broad knowledge of the industry. |
