site for the commercial shipping sector.
Argo0 facilitates conversation and gives you access to
the most comprehensive maritime glossary online.
ICS Members have access to the
“ICS Members Only Area” that includes Professional Development articles,
seminar papers, committee minutes, Shipping Network and
much more.

So what's on the site?
ICS members' only area:
This area of the site contains information for ICS
members and fellows.
Forums: Forums are available for students,
members, fellows and tutors. We can create any number of
forums including private forums if there is demand from
a particular group.
Books: If you have recommendations for books we
should list, then please let us know!
Glossary: Based on the 5th edition of the Alan
Branch 'Dictionary of Shipping' there are around 18,000
terms here… Access is free to ALL ICS members and is
available for purchase to anyone else with an interest
in shipping.
Directory: We will be soon be loading up around
details of around 600 companies and aim to expand that
to reach into the 000's very soon… This area provides a
useful means of free advertising to argo0 members.
Members' profile: Every member has the ability to
update their own profile. Not only can you update your
contact details, but you decide if you want those
details to be public or private. You can add details of
current and past workplaces and list 'keywords' to help
get 'found' . These pages are optimized for search
engines… You can upload your photo, promote your Linked
In page, add your skype IM address.
Argo0 is new and it is possible that you may come across
